A Platform Built for Women in Export
The Women in Export Forum (WiEX) 2025 was a collaboration between MATRADE and HAWA Malaysia to support the women empowerment agenda and strengthen the readiness of women entrepreneurs to enter global markets.
The programme was held on 10 June 2025 at Menara MATRADE, Kuala Lumpur, and officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Rural and Regional Development, who recommended WiEX be made an annual event.

To realise the WiEX 2025 resolution, WiEX 2026 will be organised as one of the components in MIHAS 2026 — bringing exhibition, business matching, a forum and awards together under one roof.
